Since its arrival on the French scene of the boutique pedal makers, Thrilltone is committed to offer guitarists and bassists new sounds and new playing experience, by designing high-end effects pedals to stimulate their creativity.

Making something new from old stuff ? No thanks ! Here, we don’t take part in the global recycling of vintage models and don’t make any clone. Clone’s tone still remains pretty close to the original model, so how the hell could we create new sounds and new experiences ? Best seems to break loose from good old vintage codes and to think differently, starting design from scratch and opening our minds to alternative approaches to imagine new methods that have not being explored yet.

Following this approach, we have designed Cellular Clipping™, a disruptive saturation analog technology, that brings more warmth, more expressiveness and higher definition to each one of our drives (Fire Booster, Drive Recovery and Fuel to Fire).

Creating new experiences … it is precisely this obsession that has led us to give life to tremolo with your playing dynamics (The Great Escape), or to integrate a roller into the Silex to adjust the Gain level of your amp in real time, or even more recently, to provide to Northern Lights an effects loop to extend the sounds exploration field of this awesome Multitap delay !
